Size Guide

Size guide

Garment measurements for every cut we sell — measured flat, not on the body.

Everything below is the garment measured flat, not your body. Chest is the full width from armpit seam to armpit seam; length runs from the highest shoulder point down to the hem. Fastest way to get it right: take a jersey that fits you well, measure it the same way, and match the numbers.

How to measure

Chest — lay the jersey flat and measure straight across, from one armpit seam to the other. That full width is the number in the chart, so a chart reading of 44 in means the shirt measures 44 in across, not a 44 in body.
Length — from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the bottom hem, with the jersey laid flat and smoothed out.

Men's / Unisex jerseys — XS to 5XL

The default cut for most of the store. Loose through the body by design, with a straight hem.

Men's / Unisex — garment measurements
Size	Chest (in)	Length (in)	Chest (cm)	Length (cm)
XS	34-36	26	86-91	66
S	38-40	27	97-102	69

5XL	56-60	34	142-152	86

Big & Tall — 1XB to 6XB / XLT to 6XT

Two different things: B sizes add width, T sizes keep the width and add 2-3 in of length. Both are cut from the same shoulders down.

Big & Tall — garment measurements
Size	Type	Chest (in)	Length (in)	Chest (cm)	Length (cm)
1XB	Big	46-48	31	117-122	79

6XT	Tall	60-64	38	152-163	97

Authentic — numbered sizing, 36 to 64

Some Authentic styles are sold by number instead of letter. The number is the chest width in inches, so a size 48 measures 48 in across. Use the letter column to translate your usual size.

Authentic — numbered sizing
Number	Equals	Chest (in)	Length (in)	Chest (cm)	Length (cm)
36	XS	36	29	91	74
40	S	40	30	102	76

Youth jerseys — S to XL

Cut in the same shape as the adult shirts, just scaled down. Age is a guide only, chest measurement is the reliable one.

Youth — garment measurements
Size	Age	Chest (in)	Length (in)	Chest (cm)	Length (cm)
YthS	7-8 yrs	28-30	21	71-76	53

YthXL	13-14 yrs	34-36	26	86-91	66

Preschool & Toddler — 12M to 24M / 2T to 7

Worded by age rather than letter on purpose. This is the range where children grow fastest, so measure a shirt that fits today and match the chest.

Size	Age	Chest (in)	Length (in)	Chest (cm)	Length (cm)
12MO	12-18 mo	18-19	13	46-48	33

Women's jerseys — W-XS to W-4XL

Listed with a W- prefix so they are easy to spot in the size selector. Narrower through the shoulder and waist than the unisex cut.

Women's — garment measurements
Size	Chest (in)	Length (in)	Chest (cm)	Length (cm)
W-XS	32-34	25	81-86	64
W-S	34-36	26	86-91	66
W-M	36-38	27	91-97	69

W-3XL	45-48	29	114-122	74
W-4XL	48-51	29	122-130	74

This range is not stocked yet. It goes live with the women's drop — sizes stay exactly as listed above.

Choosing your size

Cut for comfortBasketball jerseys are meant to hang loose. If you want a regular, closer fit, order one size below your usual.

Between sizes?Go up. The extra room is how the cut is designed to be worn, and it layers over a hoodie in winter without pulling.

Compare, don't guessMatch the numbers to a shirt you already own rather than to your body. Printed names and numbers on the back do not change the fit.

Numbers are taken flat and can vary by roughly 1 in / 2 cm between styles, and Youth overlaps Preschool at age 7 — in that case Youth S is the slightly longer of the two.

Watch Party Armor

For San Francisco game nights, watch parties and playoff runs — how the Swingman look in Black works when the room is loud.

Game Night, Start to Buzzer

Couch test: the fan cut is built for four hours of snacks and replays — no pinch at the collar, no ride-up at the hem, no reason to change at halftime.

a franchise born in Philadelphia in 1946 that became the league's shooting laboratory by the bay. Wearing the Swingman on game night is quoting that story in Black, in a room full of people who can recite it.

Where It Works

Arena sections in San Francisco where the whole building wears one shade
Sports bars during playoff runs, when the jersey is the passport to the crowd
Home watch parties where comfort decides whether it becomes the game-night uniform

Air moves through the torso instead of pooling at the lower back on long game nights.

Dropped-tail hem
A touch more length at the back when the jersey is worn open over a tee.

Fan-cut silhouette
Relaxed through chest and waist — sized for weekly rotation, not a display case.

Ribbed collar
The v-neck holds its shape through a full wash cycle, no curling at the edge.

Sizing, Custom Text & Care Notes

Sizing: Open the size chart popup on this page and measure your chest against it, rather than converting from another jersey you own.

Version: Everyday fan build: same layered lettering as the roster look, cut and priced for weekly wear.

Personalization: Leave the name or letters and the number you want in the note box at checkout — the sewn personalization follows your note.

Care: Cold wash inside out, hang dry, never iron directly on the lettering.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the custom personalization work?
Leave the name or letters and the number you want in the note box at checkout — the lettering is sewn to follow your note.

Will the Black fade after washing?
Inside-out cold wash and hang dry, and the shade holds its depth wash after wash.

How does the fan cut fit?
Relaxed through chest and waist with a dropped-tail hem — built to wear loose rather than tucked.

Can I put it in the dryer?
Hang dry is the safe route; direct heat is hard on twill lettering and ribbed collars.
